Dear colleagues- see this email from Rob Owens a researcher from UU. He is interested in hearing from your patients. If you want his flyer emailed to you, please let me know. His work informs HRSA and state policy. Thanks in advance for your help.

    Hello,

My name is Rob Owens and I work with a group of physicians and researchers who are trying to improve the quality and availability of medical care available to pregnant women and new mothers in rural and underserved parts of Utah. To guide our efforts, we are seeking to better understand the unique challenges and possible solutions to problems women face because of shortages and other barriers to high-quality maternal care.

As part of our project, we are looking to recruit women who have received maternity care in rural or underserved areas. We would appreciate your help recruiting women who are currently pregnant or who have recently had a baby to participate in a 20–30-minute interview. Would you be willing to post the attached flyer in your office, waiting area, or another place visible to patients or clients?

If you have any questions about this research project, please contact me. My phone number is (208) 407-7677. My email address is robert.owens@utah.edu.

Thank you for taking the time to consider helping with this important research. Have a wonderful day.

    Sincerely,
