    The Intermountain Center for Disaster Preparedness presents Basic Medical Moulage course taught by Lanette Sorenson of the Bureau of EMS and Preparedness.<o:p></o:p>

    Students will learn the fundamentals of medical moulage. They will learn the "tools of the trade" and will practice creating bruises, shock and sweat, abrasions, and lacerations, as well as learning the concepts of visual and smell effects. Students will also learn how to utilize moulage victims during Exercise Preparation.<o:p></o:p>

    There is no charge for this course. Funding is received from grants and public and private partner support.<o:p></o:p>

    Join us for a virtual discussion with Lanette Sorensen with Box Elder County Emergency Management and the Bear River Valley Hospital administrative team. These individuals were an integral piece of the response to the bus crash in Tremonton, Utah on December 12, 2022. They will discuss how the principles of incident command were used to manage their response and how the incident impacted their teams.<o:p></o:p>
