    Hello! Someone asked about filing their Medicare Cost Report electronically, and wanted to share with everyone the process and resource from Community Link Consulting.

    If you have access to PS&R reports, you should be able to submit electronically.<o:p></o:p>

    You login to the same system and look for the cost report filing area.<o:p></o:p>

    Attached is the user manual for the MCReF system.<o:p></o:p>

    Cost report filing instructions start on pg 62.<o:p></o:p>

    One thing it doesn't mention is how to classify your data when attaching – TB, Crosswalk, Vaccination Log, etc.<o:p></o:p>

    Add them where it makes sense – there aren't specific requirements except for the actual encrypted cost report documents.<o:p></o:p>

    After you attach the documents, you'll get an "error" message that says, "you should have documents in these areas".<o:p></o:p>

    You can just say OK, and it will take you to the final submittal page.
